The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Licence A Coaching Course is currently in session at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, bringing together some of Ghana’s top coaching talents for an intensive 10-day capacity-building programme.
The course, a key step in CAF’s coaching education pathway, is designed to enhance the technical and tactical expertise of elite coaches while aligning them with modern trends in the global game. Participants are undergoing rigorous classroom sessions and practical fieldwork focused on advanced tactics, structured player development, performance analysis, leadership principles, and detailed match preparation.

Throughout the programme, instructors are challenging coaches to think critically about game models, team identity, and data-driven decision-making. The aim is not only to refine their tactical understanding but also to strengthen their ability to manage players effectively and build high-performance environments.
The CAF Licence A qualification is regarded as one of the highest coaching badges on the continent and serves as a crucial stepping stone for coaches aspiring to manage at the top levels of African football.

By hosting the course at Prampram, Ghana continues to reinforce its commitment to developing world-class coaching standards and raising the technical bar of the domestic game.
