Prize money for the 2025/26 MTNFA Cup winner announced by FA Cup chairman.

Wilson Arthur, Chairman of the MTN FA Cup Committee, has announced the prize package for the winner of this season’s competition.

The tournament returns this weekend with the quarter-final stage, where the remaining clubs will battle for spots in the semi-finals.

The matches are scheduled to take place at the Cape Coast Stadium and Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

Speaking ahead of the fixtures, Wilson Arthur confirmed that the champions of this season’s MTN FA Cup will receive GH₵80,000 in prize money. Additionally, the winners will be awarded GH₵100,000 to support preparations for continental competitions, along with a share of the gate receipts from the final.

“The winner of the MTN FA Cup final will receive GH₵100,000 for Africa preparations, on top of the GH₵80,000 prize money and a share of the final’s gate proceeds,” Arthur said on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show.

In the upcoming quarter-final fixtures, Aduana FC will take on Techiman Liberty Youth Club this Saturday.

Sunday’s fixtures will feature Nations FC facing Berekum Chelsea at the Cape Coast Stadium. At Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Medeama SC will take on Attram De Visser Soccer Academy, while Dreams FC face Heart of Lions to compete for the final semi-final spot.

The tournament champion will earn the right to represent Ghana in the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup.
