Williams, Asante Out; Königsdörffer Joins Black Stars Camp

The Ghana national football team have recorded key changes in camp ahead of their upcoming international friendlies against Austria national football team and Germany national football team.

According to an official update, forward Iñaki Williams and Brandon Thomas-Asante have both been ruled out of the squad. Their absence represents a setback for the team as preparations intensify for the two high-profile matches.

However, the squad has been strengthened with the inclusion of Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer, who has joined the team ahead of the fixtures.

The Black Stars are set to face Austria on March 27, 2026, in Vienna, before travelling to Stuttgart to take on Germany on March 30, 2026.

The changes come as the technical team continues to fine-tune the squad in preparation for the two crucial friendlies, which form part of Ghana’s build-up to upcoming international competitions.

With the matches fast approaching, the Black Stars will be aiming to maintain momentum and test their depth despite the latest adjustments to the squad.
