Lil Win Reveals DNA Test Shows Child He Raised for 10 Years Isn’t His

Accra, Ghana — Popular actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah has made a deeply personal revelation, disclosing that a DNA test confirmed one of the children he had believed to be his for nearly a decade is not biologically his.

The Kumawood star shared the revelation during a live stream on TikTok, where he spoke candidly about his experience and the emotions he navigated after learning the truth.

Lil Win explained that he had raised the child for about ten years, caring for them as his own before deciding to conduct a DNA test. When the results came back, they showed that the child was not his biological offspring — a discovery he says he accepted without anger or resentment.

“The DNA issue is a true story that happened to me,” Lil Win said during the broadcast. He urged others facing similar situations not to react emotionally or aggressively, highlighting that many people end up raising children who may not be biologically related to them in various circumstances.

The actor revealed he suspected for some time that the child might not be biologically his, which made coming to terms with the results easier, but he was nonetheless open about the emotional weight of the discovery.

Lil Win also referenced his broader work in supporting children through personal initiatives, such as running a school and helping widows, noting that caring for children in need is something he has long done.

However, he also criticised situations where a parent knowingly allows a partner to take responsibility for a child who is not biologically theirs without being transparent about it.

The disclosure has sparked widespread discussion on social media and in entertainment circles, prompting conversations about fatherhood, paternity testing, and parental responsibility.
