Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2026: Full List of Nominees Announced

The countdown to Ghana’s biggest night in music has officially begun, following the release of the full list of nominees for the 27th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2026. The announcement sets the stage for what is expected to be one of the most fiercely contested editions in recent years.

The nominees were unveiled during the awards’ official launch event held on Saturday, March 14, at the Palms Convention Centre.

Topping the highly coveted Artiste of the Year category are Black Sherif, Medikal, Stonebwoy, Wendy Shay, Sarkodie, and Diana Hamilton, all of whom have enjoyed impressive chart success and strong fan support over the past year.

In a notable development, dancehall star Shatta Wale makes his return after a seven-year absence, earning a nomination in the Best Hiplife Song category alongside Medikal and Beeztrap Kotm for their collaboration, “Shoulder.”

For Album/EP of the Year, contenders include Iron Boy by Black Sherif, Disturbation 2 by Medikal, After Midnight by Gyakie, Torcher by Stonebwoy, Ready by Wendy Shay, and Walk With Me by Kweku Smoke.
