
VIP Jeoun Transport has announced a significant fare increase for both its executive coach and standard tour services, effective Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
The updated fare schedules, released by company management on Tuesday, cover 42 routes for executive coaches and 33 routes for standard tour buses. This adjustment represents the first fare review since April 2024.
Passengers travelling on the executive coach from Accra to Kumasi will now pay GH¢150, while the same trip on a standard tour bus will cost GH¢120. The Accra–Tamale route has been set at GH¢360 for executive class and GH¢290 for standard service.
The highest executive coach fare is for the Accra–Kulungugu route, now set at GH¢460. Other notable executive fares include Accra–Hamile at GH¢450, Accra–Bawku at GH¢430, Accra–Navrongo and Accra–Paga at GH¢420 each, and Accra–Bolgatanga at GH¢410.

For standard tour services, the priciest route is Accra–Garu at GH¢350, followed by Accra–Bawku at GH¢340 and Accra–Bolgatanga at GH¢330.
Intercity routes from Kumasi have also been revised. Executive coach fares from Kumasi are now GH¢210 to Tamale, GH¢240 to Wa, and GH¢300 to Kulungugu. Standard tour fares from Kumasi are GH¢170 to Tamale and GH¢190 to Wa.
Other executive routes departing Accra have also seen adjustments. Fares are now GH¢200 to Sunyani, GH¢200 to Takyiman, GH¢230 to Sampa, GH¢220 to Dormaa, GH¢220 to Drobo, GH¢220 to Kintampo, GH¢210 to Nkoranza, GH¢220 to Sefwi Juaboso, GH¢200 to Ahafo Goaso, GH¢190 to Dunkwa-on-Offin, GH¢170 to Asante Mampong, GH¢180 to Obuasi, and GH¢200 to Wassa Akropong.
Standard tour fares from Accra have also been updated, with new rates as follows: Sunyani (GH¢170), Wenchi (GH¢180), Drobo (GH¢180), Dunkwa (GH¢160), Diaso (GH¢180), Tarkwa (GH¢150), Takoradi (GH¢120), Cape Coast (GH¢110), Enchi (GH¢190), Asankragua (GH¢180), and Samreboi (GH¢190).
The company noted that an earlier announcement of a fare increase, first published on March 14, 2025, was suspended on March 18, 2025, without explanation.
Founded in 2008, VIP Jeoun Transport operates modern, air-conditioned 42-seater coaches from major terminals in Accra and Kumasi. The service connects key cities across Ghana, including Tamale, Sunyani, Takyiman, Wa, Bolgatanga, and Bawku.
Management has urged passengers to take note of the revised fares, which come into effect on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
