21 players report to camp as Black Stars begin Austria friendly buildup

Twenty-one players of the Ghana national football team trained at the Vienna Football Campus on Monday as preparations got underway for their upcoming international friendly against Austria national football team. The one-hour session focused primarily on recovery exercises for players who featured for their clubs on Sunday, while the rest of the squad engaged in tactical work and shooting drills.

Players who participated in the training session included Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Benjamin Asare, Joseph Anang, Derrick Köhn, Derrick Luckassen, Patrick Pfeiffer, Jerome Opoku, Caleb Yirenkyi, Kojo Oppong Peprah, Jonas Adjetey, Marvin Senaya, and Gideon Mensah.

Also involved in the training session were Elisha Owusu, Ibrahim Sulemana, Jordan Ayew, Kwesi Sibo, Prince Adu Kwabena, Christopher Bonsu Baah, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Antoine Semenyo, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Daniel Adjei.

Meanwhile, deputy captain Thomas Partey has joined the squad in Vienna, bringing the number of players in camp to 22. Alexander Djiku and the remaining members of the squad are expected to arrive later today.
