Interior Minister Commissions Fleet of Vehicles for Ghana National Fire Service

The Ghana National Fire Service has received a significant operational boost following the commissioning of a fleet of utility vehicles by the Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, at the Service’s National Headquarters in Accra.

The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts by government to improve mobility within the Service, strengthen emergency response capabilities, and enhance overall service delivery across the country.

The newly commissioned vehicles are expected to play a vital role in supporting a range of operations, including administrative duties, fire safety inspections, rescue missions, and rapid-response activities.

Officials believe the addition of these vehicles will significantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of personnel, enabling them to respond more swiftly to emergencies and better serve communities nationwide.
