Mohammed Baabakaki, Mohammed Addams Riai Donate GH¢2m Logistics to Support Ghana Police Service

The Lebanese Ambassador to Ghana, Mohammed Baabakaki, together with Lebanese businessman and philanthropist Mohammed Addams Riai, has donated critical logistics valued at approximately GH¢2 million to the Ghana Police Service to enhance its operations and improve public safety.

The support package includes three Nissan Navara pickup vehicles to aid field operations, as well as 20 Apsonic motorbikes to strengthen intelligence gathering and boost rapid-response capabilities across various units of the Service.

In addition to the operational support, the donation also focused on improving healthcare delivery within the Police Service. A total of 20 43-inch television sets and 30 air-conditioning units were provided to upgrade facilities at the Police Hospital, aimed at enhancing patient comfort and overall care.

The gesture underscores the continued support of the Lebanese community in Ghana toward national development, particularly in strengthening key institutions responsible for maintaining law and order.

The Ghana Police Service is expected to deploy the equipment to improve efficiency and responsiveness in its operations, as it continues efforts to ensure safety and security across the country.
