Osei Brown holds first meeting as Kotoko chairman, sets sights on Nations FC clash

Newly appointed Board Chairman of Asante Kotoko, James Osei Brown, held his first meeting with the club’s playing body and technical team on Wednesday morning, March 18, 2026, assuring them of his full support ahead of their upcoming fixture against Nations FC.

The meeting was held during the team’s training session at Adako Jachie, where Interim Management Committee (IMC) Chairman, Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua, formally introduced the squad and technical team to the new board chairman.

Addressing the players and staff, James Osei Brown reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the team both on and off the pitch. He urged the squad to remain focused and determined as they prepare for their next Ghana Premier League fixture.

The visit represents a key step in strengthening ties between the club’s new leadership and the playing body, as Asante Kotoko aim to build momentum in the league.

The Porcupine Warriors will now shift their focus to Sunday’s clash against Nations FC, heading into the game with renewed motivation following the chairman’s visit.
