Mahama Arrives In Brazzaville For President Sassou N’Guesso’s Investiture Ceremony

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Brazzaville, Congo, to participate in the investiture ceremony of President Denis Sassou N’Guesso, who has been re-elected for a new five-year term as President of the Republic of the Congo.

The Ghanaian leader’s visit comes shortly after he officially launched his flagship Free Primary Healthcare Programme at Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region, a key national initiative aimed at expanding access to affordable healthcare across the country.

President Mahama is expected to join several African heads of state and other dignitaries at the ceremony scheduled for Thursday morning, where President Sassou N’Guesso will be sworn in for another term in office.

Following the event, President Mahama is expected to return to Accra to continue with his domestic engagements and government programmes.
