An Accra High Court has granted a 10-day interim injunction restraining former Dome-Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo, from proceeding with the funeral and burial arrangements of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka.
The order was issued following an application filed by the Kristo Asafo Mission in relation to the estate of the late industrialist.Speaking to the media, the lawyer for the Kristo Asafo Mission, Nana Kofi Safo Kantanka, confirmed that the court granted the injunction to preserve the status quo while legal issues surrounding the deceased’s estate are addressed.
The interim injunction effectively halts all planned funeral and burial activities for the next 10 days, pending further proceedings before the court.
