Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has announced his squad for Ghana’s March international friendlies against Germany and Austria, handing maiden call-ups to four players – Derrick Luckassen, Patrick Pfeiffer, Marvin Senaya, and Daniel Agyei.

Luckassen, a centre-back who currently plays for Pafos FC in Cyprus, came through the ranks at AZ Alkmaar. Over the course of his career, he has featured for clubs including PSV, Hertha BSC, Anderlecht, Kasımpaşa, Fatih Karagümrük, and Maccabi Tel Aviv. He recently played a key role in Pafos’ 2024–25 Cypriot league triumph and also netted the club’s first-ever goal in the UEFA Champions League.
Senaya, on the other hand, plies his trade with French Ligue 1 outfit AJ Auxerre. The defender began his professional career in 2021 and has previously had spells with Strasbourg, Sochaux, and Lausanne-Sport.
Daniel Agyei, who operates as both a forward and winger, currently plays for Turkish side Kocaelispor. Born in England, he previously featured for clubs including Leyton Orient, Crewe Alexandra, Oxford United, and Burnley before making the move to Turkey.
Patrick Pfeiffer is a defender who plays for Bundesliga II outfit Darmstadt 98.
